  From "Kitchen of Animosity" to pure joy! Thank you Blue and Kitchens By Rquest. We had a kitchen so small and poorly configured we called it the "kitchen of Animosity" because if more one person was in the kitchen at once, tempers would rise. Not only was the space cramped, but the arraignment of the appliances was ill conceived. The refrigerator door could not open while loading the dishwasher, and the dishwasher and sink were at opposite ends of the room. The dripping dishes left a trail of wet mess on the floor en route to the dishwasher. We interviewed three contractors for estimates and ideas, none of them left us feeling that they had solved the problem of such a small space. KItchens by Request came highly recommended by two families we know. Blue Arnold came in with a design that made sense, and made us excited about the renovation. Blue gave us the most expensive of the four estimates. He explained they were a full service contractor and that customer service was his top priority. From start to finish, they fulfilled that promise. The crew arrived promptly at 7am. daily. They were always respectful and courteous. They always left the work space clean and tidy at the end of the day. They covered floors and carpets and protected existing surfaces. They even provided their own port-a-pot! We are in love with the new space. It is still a small kitchen, but with the removal of a wall and a superior design it feels like a new house altogether.
